Our Story
Mother2Mother is a 501(c)(3) grassroots community initiative seeking to use the voices of crime victims and survivors as a catalyst to change the culture of violence in the city of New Orleans. Mother2Mother also spearheads community initiatives designed to empower victims through education in the areas of life insurance, financial literacy, workforce development, job readiness and housing in an effort to disrupt the perpetual cycles of violent crime. Additionally, our organization collaborates with other organizations and community stakeholders to best serve children and families in high poverty/high crime neighborhoods.

A few of our fallen babies..
The loss of young lives to violence is a tragedy that deeply affects our community. Our hearts ache for the families and friends who have experienced a loss. Let us remember the vibrant lives cut short and honor their memory by working towards a safer, more just future for all our youth. We must prioritize initiatives that address the root causes of violence, provide mental health support, and create safe spaces for young people to thrive. Together, we can build a community where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
